We were approached by a major distributor in Senegal, West Africa, to supply approximately 500 tons per month of Icumsa 150 Crystal Sugar. Until then, the supply operation of the Senegalese company had been based on Brazilian sugar purchased from a European company and delivered in bags weighing 50 Kg CFR Dakar. All the packaging and marketing work, including labor costs, packing, storage, as well as the inevitable handling losses, were absorbed by the client himself.

On contracting Energy, the operation was redesigned: now the client deals directly with Brazil (Energy), receiving the product CFR Dakar, ready to be sold to consumers in 1, 2 or 5 Kg personalized plastic bags, each package bearing the distributor’s brand logo and product specifications written in English and French.
